Group President – Kohler Power
Thomas Cromwell joined Kohler Co. in 2009 as President of Kohler Gasoline Engines. Tom was promoted to President Kohler Engines in 2012 including responsibility for the global diesel engine business. He was promoted to Group President- Power in 2014. He is responsible for managing the Kohler Power business, which includes Engines, Generators and Uninterruptable Power Business.
Prior to joining Kohler, Tom worked 18 years at Modine Manufacturing Co., in Racine, WI, where he most recently served as Regional Vice President – Americas. Beginning in 2004, he held a series of progressively larger general management roles in the company’s commercial products, electronics cooling and heavy duty division in Europe. Tom spent the early part of his career in manufacturing engineering, supervision, supply chain and plant management.
Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial technology management from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville and his executive MBA from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
Tom and his wife Dollie have two children, Zach who is 16 and Sarah who is 14. Tom is a Wisconsin native, and he and his family live in Sheboygan Falls on a property in the country.
